It's less than two more weeks until the first batch of confirmed panels and presentations for the 2011 SXSW Interactive Festival are announced. Stay tuned to this website on Monday, September 20 to see this list of 200+ titles which will cover a variety of topics relevant to the digital creatives who come to Austin every March.

The bulk of titles announced on Monday, September 20 will come via the 2500 ideas that were sent to this year's PanelPicker interface. Analyzing these ideas is a three-part process. In addition to the voting totals from the general public (which accounts for 30% of the decision-making process on any give proposal), we rely on the input of the SXSW Advisory Board (which accounts for 40% of the decision-making process on any given proposal), as well as staff input (which accounts for 30% of the decision-making process on any given proposal).

The 200+ titles announced on Monday, September 20 will represent about one-third of our total programming for the 2011 event.
