Chevrolet is excited to help you recharge yourself and your devices by day and “Catch a Chevy” at night during this year’s SXSW festival. Just show up at one of the locations below and we’ll take you to any of the other stops on the route. Our goal is to make the SXSW Music and Film Festivals easier for you – less walking, more rocking. Look for the “Catch a CHEVY” sandwich boards.

“Catch a Chevy” and get to the hot spots in style during the SXSW Music Festival from 6pm–2am through March 20 at:

• 4th and Trinity (Brush Square Park north of the Austin Convention Center)
• 4th and Nueces (Mellow Johnny’s)
• 5th and Lavaca (Antone’s)
• 7th and Red River from March 17– 20

Movies more your speed? “Catch a Chevy” continues throughout the SXSW Film Festival from 6pm – 12am through March 20 at:

• 4th and Trinity (Brush Square Park north of the Austin Convention Center)
• South Lamar near the Alamo Draft House
• Congress between 7th and 8th (Paramount Theatre)

We are also offering a public ride and drive program, where anyone can drive one of our current line of vehicles including the Camaro, Corvette GS, Equinox, and Malibu. Take a Chevy for a test spin around downtown Austin anytime between 9am – 4pm through March 20 at the Brush Square Park “Catch a Chevy” stop at 4th and Trinity.

• Complete the Chevy Walking Trip and receive a special badge that can be redeemed for a special prize at the Chevy Volt Recharge Lounge in the ACC.
• Make your own QR Code stickers to pass out to new and old friends at the Chevy Camaro Trade Show booth through March 20.
• “Sing the Body Electric” as you check out the 2011 Chevrolet Volt at the Austin Convention Center, the extended-range electric vehicle predicted to be one of the most electric performance at SXSW.

Whenever you or your wireless devices have had enough of the action, stop off at the Chevy Volt Recharge Lounge in the Convention Center to rest and juice up.
