I'm sitting here getting my groove on in my little cave over here at the SXSW office place. Sure, I'm having a soul party of one on this Saturday night, but it's made fabulous by the sweet sounds of Fitz & the Tantrums. I'm getting a little Shuggie vibe, some classic motown, some swinging 60s... it's a heady mix the half French/half Irish (yes, you heard me right) Fitz brews up and from what I've read their live show is something full of special.

The fabulous Michael Fitzpatrick cuts his own hair (and has for the last 10 years). He likes to pick out clothing for women to wear... and is straight.

I can't wait to check the scene at Galaxy Room Backyard next Wednesday at midnight. I will fully be dancing front and center. Okay, that's not true, I'll be hiding in the back but I'll be there.
