Don't Miss the Money at the Music Trade Show
SXSW provides numerous opportunities for artists to realize their full potential. Whether it's mentoring sessions or high levels of exposure, helping acts get a leg up in the competitive music industry is always a goal. The SXSW Music Trade Show functions as a compendium of resources and tools for artists. Ranking high on the list is SoundExchange, a non-profit performance rights organization that distributes digital performance royalties to artists.
SoundExchange is the sole entity in the United States responsible with the collection and distribution of digital performance royalties. Each year SoundExchange releases a list of artists showcasing at SXSW who are owed royalties, but have not registered to receive them. Proper distribution is impossible without the necessary information. Registering with SoundExchange is free, easy and secure. Just stop by their stand (#301, 400) during the SXSW Music Trade Show or visit their site.
Official showcasing acts have complete and unfettered access to everything happening in the Austin Convention Center this year. Don't miss out on your royalties or the great exhibitors in the trade show.
