Second Play Stages feature Music Fest Artists

2010 marked the second year for SXSW Second Play Stages – early evening shows hosted by select SXSW hotels during the Music Festival.

These popular shows will return in 2011 at several SXSW hotels including the Hilton, Radisson, Sheraton, Hyatt, Embassy Suites, Wyndham Garden Hotel and Holiday Inn Town Lake. Second Play Stages are sanctioned by SXSW and feature exclusively official SXSW 2011 showcasing artists playing a bonus show (in addition to their official SXSW Music Fest showcase). These stages will be free and open to all registrants and the public.

Past acts have included: Doll and The Kicks, Mumford and Sons, Guadalupe Plata, Polly Mackey & The Pleasure Principle, Dan Dyer, Johnny Flynn, Slow Club and Suzanna Choffel.
