The Texas Guitar Show and Flatstock 29

Whether it's wood or poster stock, SXSW® has your fix. The Texas Guitar Show is back for the third year with thousands of new and used guitars for sale or trade, making it the ultimate buy-sell-trade event. The 29th installment of Flatstock, the concert poster exhibition, is sure to provide visual euphoria. More than 100 poster artists display and sell concert posters for artist and venues representing thousands of bands and international venues. Don't leave all zombie-eyed without taking a couple posters home.


Texas Guitar Show

SXSW presents the Texas Guitar Show, a free and open-to-the-public exhibition, on Friday and Saturday, March 18 and 19. Garnering 30 years of respect and success, the Texas Guitar Show is a true buy-sell-trade event. Bring your musical instruments to sell, trade, or have appraised.

Buyers will find everything (new - used - vintage) from guitars, amps, banjos, mandolins, effects, memorabilia, sound gear, parts, drums, violins, books and accessories.



Flatstock 29

Co-presented by the American Poster Institute (API) and SXSW, Flatstock 29 will display the works of more than 100 artists from across North America and the globe. The exhibition is free and open-to-the-public running March 17-19 and features posters representing decades of styles, colors and techniques for sale. Show up early and be ready to be overwhelmed with amazing posters. (You might want to bring some dough since you won't want to leave empty handed!) The exhibition is free and open to the public.

About API
The American Poster Institute is a nonprofit corporation dedicated to serving the poster artist community and promoting the art form. The Flatstock shows provide the American Poster Institute with a way to present poster artists collectively while showcasing the breadth of styles they represent.
